Poetry’s a
vehicle, a way of saying,
what needs to be said.
Rhyming and flow don’t
matter
when
there are words important
of happiness,
humour
of sadness or woe,
of horror or beauty!
Powerful messages!
And cries for help
or empathy
all needing to be
said.
Well here’s a short
recitation
that needed said!
It’s about guns,
and America!
It’s a plea said
with passion,
